Darkness creeping deep within
The thin fragments of reality shattered on a whim
My world crumbles, your face doesn't show a hint
My heart broken, your empty smile reflected in it

The things you say just hurts evermore
The laughs and jibs all hollow and flawed
Am I to wait for a glimpse of hope?
Am I to suffer the unbearable joke

Of you loving me?, of you caring for me?
Of you wanting me?, of you being there for me?
That I am your one and only?
That I matter more than anything?

Tell me what to do from this moment on
For this tragedy is longing and waiting with haste
